  • Can we book for one night?

    Unfortunately not. Our minimum stay is 2 nights.

  • What does the price include?

    The price you see is the price you pay, there are no hidden costs. This price includes all bed linen (pillow covers, duvet covers and bed sheets), bath towels, hand and tea towels and beds made up on arrival. Also included is a firepit which doubles up as a BBQ, plus enough wood to get you started. Wood can be used on the outdoor firepit/BBQ or used on the log burner which is your heat source. Additional wood can be bought on the farm. You can also order food, hampers and pizza ovens for an additional costs. Please visit our Additional Extras page

  • What time can we check in?

    The tent will be available from 4pm on your arrival date. If you are held up by traffic or unable to arrive before 8pm please let us know so that either Michael or Sophie are around to greet you. We will then leave you alone, we promise!

  • How do we find you?

    We will send you an email a couple of days before the booking with all the details you need in order to find us. If you haven’t received an email from us, please drop us a line and let us know.

  • Can we pre order food?

    If you want food in your fridge for your arrival, please let us know. We have a number of options available from home cooked food, to breakfast and BBQ hampers and a fridge fill containing your desired items. Please email enquiries@westgate-farm.co.uk

  • What time is check out?

    Check out is required by 10am please, this ensures we have enough time to clean the tents for the next guests.

  • Do you provide bed linen and towels?

    Yes. All towels and bed linen will be provided. If you need extra blankets during your stay please let us know.

    We have done our best to put as much in the tents as possible, whilst still retaining a luxury glamping feel.

  • What do I need to bring?

    Our safari tents are fully kitted out with everything you might need for your stay. All you need to bring is yourselves, some food and wine. If there is anything you need while you are with us, please let us know and we will do our best to help.

  • Is the accommodation child friendly?

    We are delighted to welcome families and children of all ages. We would just ask that parents keep an eye on their children as it is a working farm.

  • Do you accept pets?

    We accept well behaved pets which must be kept under control at all times on site and not allowed to roam unattended. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure all animal waste (poo) is picked up and disposed of in a bin. We charge £25 per pet. Max 1 pet in Owls Nest and 2 in Foxley Lodge.

  • Is there parking?

    We have designated car parking areas in the yard at the farm. Please note you will not be able to park alongside your safari tent as we want to keep the wild meadow as untouched as possible. We will provide carts to take your luggage back and forth, its a 3 min walk.

  • Is there Wi-Fi in the meadow?

    There isn’t any Wi-Fi but you should get good 4G signal. If for any reason you need to connect to the Wi-Fi to send something urgently please let us know.

  • Are we allowed visitors to the site?

    Please speak to us when making the booking if you are wishing to have people to visit.

  • Are the safari tents on the mains?

    Yes both tents are on mains electricity, water and drainage. So there is sockets and lighting throughout.

  • Are you doing anything to support the environment?

    Yes.

    Recycling bins are available for you to use.

    The wood is sourced responsibly for use in the wood burner and bbq.

    Michael works closely with Norfolk FWAG ensuring the farm is involved in environmental schemes that provide beneficial landscapes for wildlife. Schemes have included planting of nectar rich areas, leaving fields over winter for ground resting birds and management of hedgerows.

    Where possible all our cleaning products are homemade by Sophie.
